The Junior Finance Associate supports day-to-day financial operations, including accounting entries, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities. This role is ideal for an early-career finance professional seeking hands-on exposure to core finance and accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger entries
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice posting and follow-ups
- Prepare bank, vendor, and account reconciliations on a periodic basis
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Help prepare financial reports, summaries, and supporting schedules
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and clarifications
- Support audit activities by providing required documents and explanations
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates may apply)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an added advantage
