Principal Mission:
The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for designing content for email marketing, social media, digital banners, and company website ads. The position is responsible for maintaining the PFFCU brand and supporting the marketing and sales strategies.
Major Qualifications
- College degree required; Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school in Graphic Design
- Experience in an advertising agency or in-house corporate agency a plus
- Experience working with digital, social, web and email platforms
- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to execute on projects assigned by management and Digital Design Manager
- Comfortable managing multiple projects, working in a fast-paced environment and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to work within team and with other departments in a constructive manner that supports PFFCU’s values of member service, teamwork, commitment, and performance
- Ability to learn the products and services offered by PFFCU, as well as our competitive advantage relative to banks and how this benefits our members.
- This job occasionally requires work to be completed outside standard business hours and in addition to the standard weekly business hours; including being “on call.”
Ability to use a personal computer, enter information via a keyboard, and access information from a computer screen
Major Responsibilities
- Support the Digital Design Manager in creating internal and external marketing materials to support project strategy and goals.
- Size and source appropriate images to use across social media platforms
- Work with Digital Design Manager to design email communications to send to existing members, versioning out for multiple targets.
- Support design team with updates to digital assets and systems like ATMs, ITMs and TV monitors.
- Learn the features and benefits of PFFCU products and services and our key selling points relative to the competition to ensure design/layout brings content to life by highlighting key benefits and the call to action
- Stay on top of industry and competitor trends
- Archive files electronically maintaining naming conventions and processes and procedures for file storage
