Junior Graphic Designer

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Department. This role supports the development of visual content for packaging, digital media, print collateral, and retail locations, while maintaining strict compliance with state regulations governing cannabis advertising and product labeling. An individual should be highly creative, eager to learn, and passionate about contributing to a fast growing, highly regulated market.

Your role in caring for our plants:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Create marketing assets including social media graphics, digital ads, email layouts, infographics, and web graphics.
  • Support the development of product packaging, labels, and point of sale materials while following established brand guidelines.
  • Assist in designing environmental graphics for dispensaries (menus, signage, display cards).
  • Prepare files for print production; ensure color accuracy and correct formatting.
  • Organize and maintain design assets, templates, and content libraries.
  • Collaborate with photographers, printers, vendors, and internal teams to support campaign deliverables.
  • Work under the guidance of senior designers and marketing manager.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh creative ideas.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, product driven environment.

Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications we ask you to have:

  • For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
  • You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
  • We ask that you have a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • We ask that you have at least two (2) years of graphic design experience.
  • We ask that you are proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • We ask that you have a strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • We ask that you have the ability to follow brand guidelines while contributing original design concepts.
  • We ask that you have high attention to detail, especially regarding compliance-heavy design tasks.
  • We ask that you have strong communication and time management skills.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry and industry-related trends and forecasts.
  • A passion for the cannabis culture.
  • Desire and ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Please have personal accountability, proactive behaviors, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

  • High level of organization and follow through
  • Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Compliance with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Passion for cannabis.

Work Schedule/Location:

  • Hybrid/MD (four days remote; one day on-site)
