Junior HR Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior HR Recruiter and Admin with 1 year of experience to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will assist in the recruitment process, support HR-related administrative tasks, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the HR department. This role provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth within the human resources field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Support:
  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate qualifications.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interview logistics.
  • Maintain recruitment databases and update candidate status in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Help organize and participate in job fairs, campus recruitment events, and other outreach activities.
  • HR Administration:
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires, including preparing documents, conducting orientation sessions, and collecting necessary paperwork.
  • Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, such as preparing HR correspondence, managing HR filing systems, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Support in managing employee benefits, attendance, and leave records.
  • Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
  • Employee Relations Support:
  • Assist in handling employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and general workplace matters.
  • Help maintain a positive and engaging work environment by supporting team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Support the HR team in ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in maintaining HR-related documentation and compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all HR-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative roles. Exposure to recruitment platforms and ATS is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR practices is an advantage.
