Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior HR Recruiter and Admin with 1 year of experience to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will assist in the recruitment process, support HR-related administrative tasks, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the HR department. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support:
- Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and candidate qualifications.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate interview logistics.
- Maintain recruitment databases and update candidate status in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Help organize and participate in job fairs, campus recruitment events, and other outreach activities.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, including preparing documents, conducting orientation sessions, and collecting necessary paperwork.
- Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks, such as preparing HR correspondence, managing HR filing systems, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Support in managing employee benefits, attendance, and leave records.
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
- Employee Relations Support:
- Assist in handling employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and general workplace matters.
- Help maintain a positive and engaging work environment by supporting team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Support the HR team in ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining HR-related documentation and compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.
- Maintain confidentiality of all HR-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative roles. Exposure to recruitment platforms and ATS is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR practices is an advantage.
