Junior HSE Officer – Roads & Bridges

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior HSE Officer to support Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities on Roads & Bridges infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring a safe working environment, promoting safety awareness, and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs on site
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance
• Support risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and method statements
• Monitor workers and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices
• Report unsafe acts/conditions and assist in corrective actions
• Participate in incident investigations and prepare reports
• Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports
• Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for site personnel
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety standards
• Coordinate with project teams to promote a strong safety culture

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in HSE within Roads & Bridges / Construction projects
• Basic knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards
• Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is preferred
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
