Junior I&C Technician (Instrumentation & Control)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems. The ideal candidate will assist senior technicians and engineers in ensuring the reliable operation of process control equipment in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters
• Support troubleshooting and repair of control systems, including PLC and SCADA systems
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of instrumentation equipment
• Read and interpret P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, and technical manuals
• Assist in loop checking, commissioning, and testing of instrumentation systems
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and procedures
• Maintain proper documentation and records of maintenance activities
• Coordinate with senior technicians and engineers during project execution

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in instrumentation or industrial maintenance (freshers can apply)
• Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and industrial control systems
• Familiarity with calibration tools and test equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industrial standards and safety practices
• Experience in oil & gas, water treatment, or manufacturing industries
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting tools)
