Junior Instrumentation Technician

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Instrumentation / I&C Technician to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems. This role is ideal for candidates with basic experience or freshers looking to grow in industrial automation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level).
• Support senior technicians in troubleshooting PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Help in loop checking, cable testing, and commissioning activities.
• Read and understand basic P&ID drawings and loop diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
• Maintain basic records of maintenance and calibration work.
• Assist in fault identification and report issues to senior team members.

Requirements:

• Diploma or ITI in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience (freshers can apply).
• Basic knowledge of industrial instruments and control systems.
• Willingness to learn and work in field/site environments.
• Basic understanding of PLC/SCADA systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with calibration tools (multimeter, calibrator, loop tester).
• Knowledge of control valves and transmitters.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting).
