Junior Interior Designer

High-End Residential design firm based in NYC seeks a Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team. Candidate must have 2+ years of related work experience in the interior design field. The ideal candidate will be highly detailed-oriented, extremely organized, adept at working on multiple projects at once, highly self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced creative environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Sourcing furniture, lighting and antiques that are cohesive to the design aesthetic of the project
• Drafting furniture plans as well as furniture in elevation
• Generating purchase orders and invoices
• Creating budgets and maintaining them throughout the project
• General organization of paperwork and materials related to the project
• Perform some administrative duties for the firm and principal

Requirements:

• AutoCAD
• Adobe Creative Suite
• MS Office
• Studio Designer (or similar management system)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
