Junior Interior Designer

Overview

We are seeking a personable, organized, self-motivated professional with interior design experience. This is a part-time on-site role located in Chantilly, Va. This person will assist with space planning, product sourcing and selections, work with vendor relationships, create renderings for client presentations, and contribute to the overall interior design process. Responsibilities include working with builder relationships for new construction as well as working with new interior design clients from consultation through installation.

We are looking for a team player who is driven, humble and enjoys being around people. We expect someone who is punctual, detail focused, a good listener and responsible. You will take pride in representing our company in front of our clients. The perfect candidate will care about providing quality work in a fast-paced yet fun environment.

Qualifications

• Space Planning and Interior Design skills
• Fluent in Sketch Up
• Knowledge of Interior Design Concepts
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work on-site in Chantilly, VA
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Experience with other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
