Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer located at our Winnetka studio. The Junior Interior Designer will be responsible for assisting in the development of creative interior design concepts, space planning, and creating construction drawings. The role involves collaborating with team members, clients, and vendors to ensure design solutions meet project objectives. Additional tasks include sourcing FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), preparing design presentations, and providing support throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design fundamentals
• Experience with Architecture and Construction Drawings
• Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) sourcing and specification
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams and clients
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop necessary
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Experience with Studio Designer a plus
