Junior Interior Designer

Job Overview
We are a fast-growing design studio that started two years ago and continues to expand with new projects. Our work focuses primarily on new construction residential, along with renovations projects. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our creative team, and motivated individual with experience in multiple areas of construction! This is a role, you will assist in developing innovative interior design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, and collaborating closely with principal designer and clients to bring visions to life. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about interior design who wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced, inspiring environment. You will be involved in all phases of projects, from initial concept sketches to final execution, ensuring each space reflects both functionality and aesthetic excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating detailed interior design plans using software such as AutoCAD,or Chief Architect, Canva. Bonus, Programa or Studio Designer
• Support principal designer with rendering, and presentation boards that communicate design ideas effectively.
• Collaborate with project teams on space planning, color schemes, lighting design, and material selections based on client needs and project specifications.
• Contribute to site visits during renovation and remodeling projects to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare documentation including contracts, budgets, and construction drawings while maintaining attention to detail.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for lighting sales, furnishings, and materials to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Assist in project management tasks such as scheduling, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to budgets.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Programa, Canva
• Strong understanding of drafting techniques, color theory, lighting design principles, and CAD standards.
• Experience or coursework related to interior design, remodeling, renovation, construction processes, and contracts.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for interior design trends and a keen eye for detail.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
