Junior Interior Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will assist in creating innovative interior spaces that blend functionality with aesthetic appeal. You will collaborate closely with senior designer, clients, and contractors to bring design concepts to life, ensuring projects are executed seamlessly from concept through completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in interior design, drafting, and project management within a vibrant and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of interior design concepts using software such as SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhinoceros 3D.
• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and 3D visualizations that accurately reflect project visions.
• Assist in selecting color schemes, materials, lighting fixtures, and furnishings by applying principles of color theory and lighting design.
• Collaborate with project managers to coordinate schedules, budgets, and timelines for renovation and remodeling projects.
• Contribute to client presentations by creating compelling visual content using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite tools.
• Help review construction documents, contracts, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in site visits to monitor progress, conduct inspections, and support renovation or construction activities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Canva, AI tools, Google Docs
• Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, CAD standards, and interior design principles.
• Familiarity with lighting sales, lighting design concepts, and remodeling processes.
• Strong understanding of color theory, space planning, and construction documentation.
• Experience in FF&E
• Strong eye for design and interest in current trends and products on the market
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• 2-4 years of relevant Residential Interior design experience needed.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
