Junior Interior Designer / Project Manager
Elms Interior Design is a forward-thinking interior design firm specializing in high-end residential projects. We are currently seeking a full-time Junior Project Manager to provide comprehensive support to our Principal and design team throughout all phases of the project cycle, from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Managers in managing project timelines, budgets, and client communications.
- Proficient use of AutoCAD, InDesign, and Photoshop to create detailed design documents and presentations.
- Prepare plans, elevations, architectural and millwork details.
- Develop and refine client presentations for meetings.
- Produce construction documents that support and enhance design concepts.
- Maintain and update project budget spreadsheets and schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors to source and specify products, obtain quotes, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Review and create detailed project proposals and specifications.
- Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide on-site support during the installation of fixtures and furnishings.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and adaptable in managing a dynamic and fast-paced schedule. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for interacting with clients, vendors, and the design team.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of professional experience in residential interior design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
