We are currently seeking an experienced Junior Interior Designer/Project Manager with 3+ years experience working on high-end residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and has the skills and drive to take ownership of projects from concept, through all stages of production, to completion. Applicants should be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible to work on a variety of projects under the direction of the Principal and Senior Designers. AutoCAD & Design Manager experience is a must.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage interior design projects from concept through installation, coordinating all phases including proposals, purchasing, vendor communication, scheduling, and final styling.
2. Develop project proposals and budgets, working with vendors to obtain pricing and cost estimates.
3. Manage FF&E procurement using Design Manager, including preparing client proposals, placing and tracking orders, maintaining inventory, and monitoring project timelines.
4. Maintain organized project documentation, including purchase orders, specifications, drawings, schedules, vendor contacts, and other project materials.
5. Support studio operations, including recruiting and managing the intern program and general office management.
6. Participate in client meetings, prepare meeting notes, and track action items to support project progress.
7. Coordinate and manage project installations, including scheduling deliveries, overseeing vendors and installers, and supporting on-site installation and styling.
8. Conduct site visits and field surveys to document existing conditions and assess existing furniture and inventory.
9. Collaborate with the design team to develop design concepts and assist in preparing drawings, presentation boards, and renderings for client presentations.
10. Draft technical drawings in AutoCAD, including space planning, custom furniture and lighting details, and interior architectural elements; coordinate with project architects as needed.
11. Research and source furnishings, lighting, fabrics, wallcoverings, and interior finishes. Familiarity with interior finishes (tile, stone, wood, kitchen and bath materials) is beneficial.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
