Job Title: Junior Inventory & Logistics Associate – SCM

Experience Required:1–3 Years

Job Summary
The Junior Inventory & Logistics Associate supports inventory control, material movement, and logistics coordination to ensure smooth supply chain operations. The role focuses on stock accuracy, timely dispatch and receipt of materials, logistics coordination, and compliance with SCM processes.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, components, and finished goods
  • Monitor stock levels and support replenishment and material planning activities
  • Perform regular stock verification and assist in cycle counts
  • Coordinate with stores and procurement teams to avoid shortages or excess inventory
Logistics & Material Movement
  • Coordinate inward and outward logistics, including dispatch and delivery tracking
  • Follow up with transporters, couriers, and logistics partners for timely movement
  • Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for shipments
  • Track material movement from suppliers to warehouse or project sites
Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare and maintain GRN, delivery challans, invoices, and transport documents
  • Ensure accurate data entry in ERP/Inventory systems
  • Support audit requirements and ensure SCM compliance
Coordination & Reporting
  • Coordinate with procurement, production, finance, and project teams
  • Report delays, damages, shortages, or discrepancies to concerned teams
  • Prepare basic inventory and logistics reports for management review
Skills & Competencies
  • Good understanding of inventory control and logistics processes
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and basic reporting
  • Experience with ERP / Inventory Management Systems (SAP / Tally / Zoho / Odoo or similar)
  • Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics
  • Preferred Industry Experience
  • Manufacturing / Electronics / Electrical / Automation / Infrastructure sectors
