Junior Laravel Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Laravel Developer to join our growing development team. You will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications built using the Laravel framework. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn modern web technologies, work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, and grow as a full-stack developer.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using the Laravel framework.
• Collaborate with senior developers and designers to implement responsive front-end designs using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
• Write clean, organized, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Develop and maintain APIs and support the integration of front-end components with back-end systems and databases.
• Contribute to database design and optimization, including writing simple to intermediate MySQL queries.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality, reliable applications.
• Document development processes, system architecture, and technical specifications.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in web development.
• Communicate effectively with team members and project managers regarding progress, issues, and suggestions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2–3 years of experience in software or web development
• Basic to intermediate understanding of PHP and Laravel framework (knowledge of MVC architecture and OOP concepts).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of MySQL (joins, subqueries, database design); familiarity with MongoDB is a plus.
• Experience with REST APIs and version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
• Exposure to Linux environments and command-line tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and work collaboratively in a team setting.
• A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs (Google APIs, Payment Gateways, etc.).
• Nice to Have (Optional):
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Angular, Vue.js or React.js.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
