Junior Laravel Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Laravel-based web applications and APIs.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
• Assist in database design and optimization, including MySQL/MariaDB.
• Implement frontend components using Blade templates, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic proficiency required).
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to deliver features on time.
• Fix bugs and support ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
• Write and maintain unit and feature tests where applicable.
• Stay updated with the latest Laravel and PHP ecosystem trends.

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel framework.
• Solid understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful API principles.
• Experience with Laravel features (Eloquent ORM, migrations, routing, middleware, queues, events).
• Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB) and SQL.
• Frontend basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript; familiarity with Bootstrap or similar is a plus.
• Version control using Git; basic branching, merging, and pull request workflows.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix command line and basic server deployment concepts.
• Problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and teamwork.
