About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Junior Manager / Analyst – Strategy (M&A) to support our corporate strategy and M&A initiatives. Reporting to the General Manager Strategy, this role is pivotal in conducting market research, financial modeling, due diligence, and strategic evaluations to drive informed investment decisions.

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in aligning operations with strategic goals, analyzing economic and sectoral trends, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and providing high-quality insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities
✔ Conduct commercial evaluations of investment proposals using SWOT, PEST, and BCG tools
✔ Develop sectoral risk profiles and assess industry-specific risks
✔ Prepare weekly news briefs & monthly economic factsheets for leadership
✔ Perform due diligence on prospective investment partners
✔ Build and maintain financial models for investment appraisals
✔ Assess economic impacts on group companies and provide timely insights
✔ Identify and mitigate financial & commercial risks in investments
✔ Develop quantitative models and risk assessment tools
✔ Collaborate with group companies and support annual/revised budget preparation

What We’re Looking For
Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business (MBA preferred)

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong financial modeling & valuation expertise
• In-depth knowledge of market research & forecasting
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in M&A, financial analysis, investment banking, or related fields
• Background in data analysis and transaction support preferred
