Junior Market Research Executive

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior Market Research Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for an emerging professional who possesses a foundational technical understanding and a strong desire to explore the intersection of technology trends, market dynamics, and business strategy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our senior teams by gathering, synthesizing, and reporting market data to inform our technology and digital consulting projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Market Research: Conduct foundational research on technology and digital service markets, including industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer behaviour.
  • Data Gathering and Synthesis: Collect and organise data from various primary and secondary sources (e.g., research databases, industry reports, competitor websites, technical forums).
  • Support Insight Generation: Work alongside Business Analysts and Product teams to translate raw data and observations into preliminary market insights and opportunities.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed research summaries, data visualisations, and supporting documentation for internal reports and presentations.
  • Trend Monitoring: Track and report on emerging software development trends, digital transformation initiatives, and new technologies relevant to our business strategy.
  • Data Tool Utilisation: Maintain and update market data using proficiency tools like Excel and other internal dashboards.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a research, analysis, or technology-focused role (internships and academic projects count).
  • Analytical Skills: Foundational analytical and critical thinking skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Technical Aptitude: A keen interest in and basic understanding of the technology landscape, software, and digital services.
  • Tool Proficiency: Familiarity or proficiency with data management tools such as Microsoft Excel (required) and an aptitude for learning visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings clearly.
