This role is a great opportunity to join OUP’s Academic Marketing function at a time when marketing efficiency, automation, and data‑driven decision making are increasingly central to organisational success. As a Junior Marketing Data & Automations Engineer, you will directly contribute to OUP’s mission by enabling scalable, efficient, and consistent marketing operations, helping teams make smarter decisions through better data, insights, and automated workflows.
You’ll work with modern tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, Zapier, and MarTech platforms—gaining hands‑on experience in automation, data engineering fundamentals, analytics, and reporting. The role sits within a supportive, collaborative Marketing Operations environment where experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement are encouraged. It’s ideal for someone early in their data, analytics, or marketing operations career who is excited by technology, problem‑solving, and making measurable impact across global marketing teams.
In this role, you will support Academic Marketing by contributing to the delivery of automations, data integrations, data quality management, analytics, and reporting. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
