Junior MEP Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior MEP Draftsman ( Having good Knowledge of preparing electrical shop drawings )with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our engineering team. The candidate should have good knowledge of MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and be proficient in AutoCAD to prepare accurate drawings in accordance with project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) using AutoCAD.

Having good Knowledge of preparing electrical shop drawings

Assist in developing layouts for HVAC, electrical, lighting, power, fire alarm, plumbing, and drainage systems.

Modify and update drawings based on engineer’s instructions and site requirements.

Coordinate with MEP engineers and other disciplines to avoid clashes.

Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local authorities’ regulations, and standards.

Prepare as-built drawings after project completion.

Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or a related field.

1–3 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman.

Having good Knowledge of preparing electrical shop drawings

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory).

Basic understanding of MEP systems and construction drawings.

Familiar with local authority requirements (preferred).

Good attention to detail and time management skills.

Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
