Junior Mep Engineer

Job Summary

A Junior MEP Engineer supports the design, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for building or infrastructure projects. You’ll work under senior engineers or project managers and gain hands-on experience with technical design, documentation, coordination, and site activities.

Key Responsibilities Design & Documentation

• Assist in preparing and modifying MEP drawings and technical layouts using tools like AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or BIM software.
• Perform basic calculations and system analysis for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Support senior engineers with project specifications, technical reports, and document reviews.

Coordination & Teamwork

• Work with project teams including architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure MEP systems integrate smoothly with other disciplines.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate information flow between stakeholders.

Site Support & QA/QC

• Assist in site visits, inspections, and quality checks to verify installation work matches design intent and standards.
• Help resolve technical issues and support construction supervision where needed. I

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure designs comply with local UAE building codes and regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DEWA/Civil Defense requirements).
• Stay updated on best practices and standards relevant to MEP engineering.

Administrative Tasks

• Prepare and maintain project reports, records, and documentation.
• Assist with procurement support such as verifying material specifications.

Qualifications & Skills Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Typically 0–2 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Basic proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, BIM tools.
• Understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, or fire-fighting systems.

Soft Skills

• Good communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
• Eagerness to learn and attention to detail.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
