Junior Merchandiser

The Junior Merchandiser supports the day-to-day execution of core merchandising tasks for both retail and e-commerce channels. Working TYPO and Cotton On, this role focuses on allocation accuracy, system updates, and product readiness without involvement in buying. The individual will be developed into a TYPO merchandising expert for brick-and-mortar retail, ensuring stock flow and product availability aligns with brand strategies and store capacities.

• Update pricing in Retail Pro, ensuring all changes are correctly reflected at store level.
• Upload promotional setups in Retail Pro, followed by sanity checks to confirm accurate execution and store visibility.
• Generate allocation sub-files for each store, conduct thorough sanity checks, and upload allocations into Sage.
• Generate initial allocations for new launches through HEX and ensure upload into sage.
• Generate Interbranch transfers for lines not available in warehouse and ensure compliance of them being completed.
• Track all incoming shipments and GRNS as warehouse and ensure AI is as per launch plan.
• Liaise with stores to address queries related to system or data discrepancies, stock availability, price changes, and promotions.
• Any other ad-hoc requirements.
• Assist with tagging, pricing uploads, and product uploads for own e-commerce platform and 3rd party websites such as Namshi, Noon, and Amazon.
• Create product master's along with imagery in the required formats for the 3rd party websites.
• Ensure product listings go live as per the launch calendar. Ensure accuracy and consistency of product data across platforms.
• Coordinate with platform teams to ensure timely and accurate listing of products and promotional offers.

Preferred experience ; 2-5 yrs in fashion merchandising and retail planning.
