JUNIOR MERCHANDISER

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to support the merchandising team in executing orders, managing client communication, and ensuring timely delivery of home textile products. This role involves coordination with internal departments, vendors, and clients to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in handling buyer accounts and day-to-day communications with clients.
• Coordinate with production, design, and sourcing teams to ensure order requirements are met.
• Help in developing samples and tracking their approval process.
• Prepare and maintain order sheets, costing sheets, T&A (Time & Action) calendars, and other merchandising documentation.
• Track order status and follow up on timely shipments and deliveries.
• Maintain records of trims, fabrics, and other raw materials.
• Support in market research and trend analysis for product development.
• Liaise with quality control teams to ensure compliance with buyer standards.
• Attend meetings with buyers and senior merchandisers as required.
• Support senior merchandisers in pricing, negotiation, and vendor follow-ups.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field. Costing Knowledge.
• 0–2 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the home textiles sector (e.g., bedding, curtains, towels, etc.).
• Basic understanding of textiles, production processes, and export documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and merchandising software/tools.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Pay: ₹9,321.13 - ₹21,980.69 per month
