Junior NetSuite Developer (with Power BI)

NetSuite (70%)

• Build/maintain Suite Script 2.x (Client, User Event, Scheduled/Map-Reduce, Suitelet) for workflows, data validations, and integrations.
• Create Saved Searches, Suite Analytics Workbooks, custom fields/records, forms, roles/permissions, and dashboards.
• Execute CSV imports, data cleansing, and mass updates safely across environments.
• Troubleshoot issues, log defects, and document fixes; support sandbox→production releases.
• Write clear technical/functional documentation and lightweight runbooks.

Power BI & Reporting (30%)

• Build data models (Power Query/M, DAX), reusable datasets, and interactive dashboards (finance & ops KPIs).
• Implement Row-Level Security, refresh schedules (gateways), and data quality checks.

Must-Have Skills

• Basic SuiteScript 2.x (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and NetSuite objects (search, record, file, runtime).
• NetSuite Saved Searches, Workbooks, dashboards, understanding of workflows & custom records.
• Power BI: Power Query (M), DAX, star schema modelling, measures, and KPI design.
• Solid SQL fundamentals; comfortable with data joins and aggregation.
• Strong debugging, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Map/Reduce performance tuning and governance limits.
• Exposure to Suite Talk REST/SOAP.
• Finance/ERP concepts (AR, AP, revenue recognition).
• Python for light data tasks; Git/GitHub; JIRA/Confluence.
• Power BI administration (workspaces, gateways) and RLS best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years working with NetSuite and/or BI.
• Any of: NetSuite Suite Foundation certificate is a plus.
