Job Summary

Island Tower Group of Companies is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Planning Engineer with 2–3 years of UAE experience in infrastructure and/or MEP projects. The candidate will support planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing baseline project schedules using Primavera P6.
Update and monitor project schedules regularly.
Track site progress and identify delays or schedule deviations.
Prepare 2-week and 4-week look-ahead schedules.
Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors for progress data.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Support delay analysis and EOT documentation preparation.
Develop manpower histograms and resource allocation reports.
Monitor procurement schedules and material delivery timelines.
Maintain proper planning documentation and records.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
2–3 years of UAE experience in Infrastructure and/or MEP projects.
Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, reporting).
Understanding of construction sequencing and project lifecycle.
Familiarity with UAE construction standards and contractual procedures.
