Job Summary

Island Tower Group of Companies is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Planning Engineer with 2–3 years of UAE experience in infrastructure and/or MEP projects. The candidate will support planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing baseline project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Update and monitor project schedules regularly.
• Track site progress and identify delays or schedule deviations.
• Prepare 2-week and 4-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors for progress data.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Support delay analysis and EOT documentation preparation.
• Develop manpower histograms and resource allocation reports.
• Monitor procurement schedules and material delivery timelines.
• Maintain proper planning documentation and records.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of UAE experience in Infrastructure and/or MEP projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, reporting).
• Understanding of construction sequencing and project lifecycle.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and contractual procedures.
