Key Responsibilities
UI/UX & Product Design
- Design & Prototyping: Design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually polished interfaces for our [mobile app/web platform] using design tools.
- User Flow Mapping: Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design intent and ensure a smooth user journey clearly.
- Design System Contribution: Help establish and maintain a scalable design system (UI components, styles, guidelines) to ensure consistency across the product.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to understand requirements and ensure design feasibility and proper implementation.
Graphic Design & Visual Assets
- App Store Assets: Own the creation and iteration of all graphic assets needed for the Google Play Store and other app marketplaces, including feature graphics, screenshots, app icons, and short promotional videos/gifs.
- Marketing Collateral: Design visually compelling assets for our marketing needs, such as social media graphics, email headers, blog images, and pitch decks.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual output—from product screens to marketing materials—adheres to and strengthens the company's brand guidelines.
- Image & Asset Management: Perform image editing, retouching, and preparation of final files for various digital and print uses.
What We're Looking For (Required Skills)
- Experience: 0-2 years of professional or significant project/internship experience in UI/UX and Graphic Design.
- Portfolio is Mandatory: A strong portfolio demonstrating skills in both UI/UX (process, flows, screen design) and graphic/visual design (branding, marketing assets).
- Tool Proficiency:
- UI/UX: Must be proficient in Figma (or Sketch/Adobe XD with a willingness to switch).
- Graphic: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator are essential).
- Fundamentals: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Mindset: A strong desire to learn, an aptitude for receiving and implementing constructive feedback, and a detail-oriented approach.
Bonus Skills
- Experience designing for specific mobile platform guidelines (Material Design, iOS Human Interface Guidelines).
- Basic motion graphics/video editing skills (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro) for ad creatives or Play Store previews.
