Today, we are recruiting for a Junior Project Coordinator to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and key project routines (agenda, attendance, minutes, action capture, follow-up)
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information flow across workstreams and interfaces
  • Support coordination between onshore and offshore teams, as required by the project operating model
  • Support the PMO/planning team in maintaining planning inputs (milestones, dependencies, deliverables lists)
  • Update trackers and support the preparation of look-ahead views and simple status dashboards for internal reporting
  • Help ensure continuity of planning information across phases (design, build, testing/commissioning, rollout), under supervision
  • Prepare, update, and maintain project documentation as applicable (action logs, decision logs, risk/issue logs, deliverable trackers, interface trackers, correspondence trackers)
  • Apply high standards of documentation quality, consistency, and version control
  • Support periodic reporting cycles (weekly/monthly) by consolidating inputs and checking completeness
  • Monitor action closure and highlight overdue items, risks, issues, or schedule concerns to the PMO Lead
  • Track commitments from governance reviews and ensure evidence/records are properly filed
  • Support transition planning and handovers when responsibilities shift
  • Compile data from trackers and stakeholder inputs to support reporting and decision-making
  • Assist with basic analysis (e.g., trends in action aging, deliverable status, recurring blockers) and present clearly in tables/charts

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or similar)
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination/PMO, construction, rail/metro, or a comparable environment (internships count)
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through
  • Confident communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to coordinate across multicultural teams
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with planning tools is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organized records, and work to deadlines
  • Proactive mindset (“see it, own it, close it”)
  • Comfortable working in a structured, governance-driven project environment
  • Team player with a continuous improvement attitude
