Junior Project Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager to support the planning and execution of AI/ML initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with a foundation in project management and an interest in Artificial Intelligence who are eager to grow into managing complex AI projects. You will work closely with senior project managers, data scientists, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating AI/ML project activities and timelines.
• Support senior project managers in tracking deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
• Document requirements, meeting notes, and project updates.
• Collaborate with technical teams (AI/ML engineers, data scientists, developers) and business stakeholders.
• Help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and clients.
• Ensure effective communication across cross-functional teams.
• Learn and adopt Agile/Scrum practices in managing AI-related workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT & 3+ years of experience in project coordination, project support, or junior project management roles.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello, MS Project, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Agile, Scrum, or project management fundamentals (nice to have).
• Exposure to AI/ML projects, data analytics, or IT/software development projects.
• Eagerness to learn about MLOps, AI deployment, and data-driven decision-making.
