Job Purpose
To reduce product quality issues, prevent losses, and ensure only good quality products are delivered to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect all incoming goods for:
- Expiry dates
- Packaging condition (damage, leakage, swelling)
- Product quality (visual checks such as color, texture for items like cheese, dairy, etc.)
- Verify temperature-sensitive products (chilled/frozen items) at the time of receiving.
- Ensure proper storage conditions:
- Monitor and record temperature of chillers/freezers
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in storage areas
- Report and segregate:
- Damaged / expired / non-conforming products
- Coordinate with warehouse and procurement for rejection or return
- Maintain quality records:
- GRN inspection checklist
- Temperature logs
- Rejection/damage reports
- Support implementation of:
- FIFO / FEFO (First Expiry First Out)
- Basic food safety practices
- Assist in handling customer complaints related to product quality.
- Conduct periodic checks on stock to ensure quality compliance.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s (preferably in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field)
- Experience: 0–2 years (freshers with relevant knowledge can be considered)
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues
- Basic documentation and reporting skills
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of dairy / chilled product handling
- Familiarity with HACCP principles (basic level)
- Ability to work in warehouse environment
Working Conditions
- Warehouse environment (including cold storage areas)
- May require physical movement and inspection work

Pay: QAR2,500.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
