Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior QC Welding Inspector with a CSWIP 3.2 certification to join our quality control team in the structural steel and oil & gas sector. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring that all welding activities and fabricated components meet project specifications, codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welds and structural steel components.

Review and verify WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records.

Monitor welding operations to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (AWS, ASME, ISO, etc.).

Prepare detailed inspection and test reports.

Coordinate with production and QA/QC teams to identify and resolve welding issues.

Maintain inspection records and assist in final documentation for client handover.

Requirements:

CSWIP 3.2 (Certified Welding Inspector) certification – mandatory

A diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred

1–3 years of experience in QC welding inspection, preferably in structural steel and oil & gas projects

Good knowledge of international welding codes and standards

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team
