Junior QS Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
• Support senior QS engineers in quantity take-offs and measurement calculations.
• Help monitor and control project costs to ensure budget compliance throughout all project phases.
• Assist in the preparation of variation orders and contract documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, invoices, and related financial documents.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather relevant data and support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all quantity surveying activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of quantity surveying principles, construction methods, and cost control techniques.
• Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
