Senior Quantity Surveyor (Fit out Projects)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a specialized background in Fit-Out and Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration for fit-out projects. This role requires extensive experience within the GCC region, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and budget forecasts for interior fit-out projects
• Manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers/subcontractors and evaluating quotations
• Monitor project expenditures and provide regular cost reports to ensure adherence to budgets
• Assist in contract negotiation, variations, and claims management
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and design teams to ensure cost-effective solutions
• Conduct site visits and verify completed work against project specifications
• Prepare and administer interim and final payment certificates
• Ensure compliance with project budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and advise management accordingly

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Fit-Out and Construction projects within the GCC region
• Strong understanding of construction methods, interior design elements, and fit-out specifications
• Excellent knowledge of FIDIC and local contract practices
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• High attention to detail and analytical skills
• Currently based in KSA or willing to relocate immediately

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial, hospitality, and high-end residential interior fit-out projects
• Professional certification (e.g., MRICS) is an advantage
• Arabic language skills are a plus, but not mandatory
