Junior Quality Assurance

We are seeking a motivated Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with the QA and development teams to identify defects, validate fixes, and contribute to delivering a seamless product experience. This position offers an opportunity to build on your existing QA knowledge while working with industry-standard tools and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing across various applications.
• Accurately document defects, track resolutions, and report test results.
• Collaborate with developers to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Review and validate software requirements and specifications.
• Work with automated testing tools and frameworks to improve test coverage.
• Suggest enhancements to QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated on emerging QA practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in manual or automated software testing.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and defect tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to document and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
