Key Responsibilities
- Manage development team’s time by prioritizing tasks and planning product releases to meet project milestones.
- Reviewing software design, requirement, and test plan documents to understand product functionality and to develop test cases, strategies, and scripts.
- Working closely with the installation team, software developers, and other QA department members to creating manual system/regression scripts.
- Testing functionality of software, verifying data and results returned.
- Reporting results to team lead and proactively working to resolve any issues.
Competencies and skills
- Must have a good understanding of the test development life cycle.
- Experience in designing manual test scripts.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with database and web-based environments a plus.
- Must have strong organization skills and demonstrate necessary commitment to meet testing deadlines.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical associates.
- Must be willing to learn new skills and improve upon current skills as required for testing.
- Knowledge of financial processes a plus..
