Job Description:
What you will do:

• Implement and monitor quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures on-site.
• Ensure that all construction work complies with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Perform material testing (e.g., concrete cube testing, slump tests, sieve analysis of aggregates, etc.)
• Inspect and verify workmanship at various stages of construction (foundation, formwork, reinforcement, concreting, finishing, etc.)
• Maintain quality documentation and test records, including third-party test reports.
• Monitor concrete batching, placement, and curing processes as per approved mix design.n
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site engineers for rectification of quality issues.
• Conduct internal audits and assist during external/consultant inspections.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports.s
• Ensure timely calibration of lab equipment and maintenance of testing logs.
• Study and interpret relevant IS codes, standards, and technical drawings.
• Support in conducting training for site teams on quality procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
• 2–6 years of proven experience in QA/QC roles in civil construction projects (residential/commercial/infrastructure)
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing procedures, and quality standards (IS codes, MORTH, etc.)
• Familiar with mix design, lab testing equipment, and documentation protocols
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle documentation, audits, and quality coordination independently
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
