Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – High-Rise Building Project

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with proven experience in high-rise building projects to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from initial estimates to final accounts, ensuring value for money while maintaining the required quality and compliance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for high-rise building works.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering, evaluation, and awarding of subcontractors.
- Evaluate and certify subcontractor/supplier invoices and variations.
- Monitor project expenditures and prepare monthly cost reports for management.
- Handle contract administration, claims, and dispute resolution in line with FIDIC/contract standards.
- Provide support during negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress, quantities, and compliance with contract requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all commercial and contractual matters.
- Support project close-out including preparation of final accounts and claims settlement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying with at least 5 years in high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, local UAE regulations, and procurement procedures.
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Candy/CCS, CostX, or equivalent).
- Advanced MS Excel and AutoCAD skills for measurement and reporting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- RICS or similar professional accreditation is an added advantage.
