Job Title: Fresh Graduate Quantity Surveyor (Omani National)

With a strong portfolio in critical infrastructure development, they are committed to delivering excellence and innovation in every project. They are currently seeking to invest in the next generation of Omani talent within their Quantity Surveying department.

About The Opportunity: This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for five highly motivated and talented Omani fresh graduates to embark on a rewarding career as a Quantity Surveyor. Over a substantial 60-month tenure, you will be immersed in real-world projects, gaining invaluable experience within a leading consultancy environment focused on design and construction, particularly within the infrastructure sector (including projects with at least two infrastructure project references in the firm's portfolio). This role offers a robust foundation for professional growth, mentorship, and a clear career path in the Quantity Surveying field.

Key Responsibilities (Under Supervision and Training): As a Fresh Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be integral to the project team, learning and assisting with various aspects of cost management and contract administration. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, budget plans, and tender documents.
  • Learning and supporting in contract administration, including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Participating in site visits for measurement, progress monitoring, and data collection.
  • Supporting in preparing Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and scope of works under guidance.
  • Helping with cost control and financial reporting for projects.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and records.
  • Collaborating with project teams, engineers, and contractors.
  • Developing a strong understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the Quantity Surveying department.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Omani National (Mandatory).
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field of study.
  • Fresh graduate with no prior professional experience required.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions diligently.
  • A genuine interest in a long-term career within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
