Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Assist in quantity take-off from drawings and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Support in cost estimation and budgeting for building construction projects.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and change orders.
- Prepare interim payment applications, progress valuations, and final accounts.
- Coordinate with site engineers to verify work progress and measurements.
- Review subcontractor invoices, measurements, and payment certificates.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs, variations, and contractual correspondence.
- Assist in procurement processes by preparing quantity breakdowns and material comparisons.
- Support in contract administration and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare cost reports and financial summaries for management review.
Key Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Mandatory GCC experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and cost estimation.
- Familiarity with contract administration, site measurements, and variation claims.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and QS-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, PlanSwift, or similar).
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
