Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform quantity take-offs and measurements for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Support the preparation of detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and budgets for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Assist senior commercial team members during tendering stages, including inquiry preparation, pricing, and submission support.
  • Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations and help prepare comparison sheets and cost summaries.
  • Monitor project expenditures by tracking material consumption, labor costs, and site progress against budgets.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly progress valuations, variation orders, and cost reports.
  • Maintain organized records of measurements, contracts, change orders, and project-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with site teams, procurement, and planning departments to ensure accurate cost and quantity reporting.
  • Support final account reconciliation and assist with project handover and close-out documentation.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, commercial management, or construction projects (internships and graduate training considered).
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD and estimating/take-off tools is preferred.
  • Fundamental understanding of measurement standards, cost control principles, and tendering procedures.
