Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior R&D Engineer (2–5 years of experience) to join our growing R&D team. This role will support both existing product lines and the development of a robust portfolio of new devices. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, be skilled in prototyping and testing, and bring a strong working knowledge of drawings, CAD tools, and medical device quality systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Collaborate with the Quality team and suppliers to update and improve engineering drawings based on feedback.

Work with suppliers to improve yield and reliability of manufactured components.

Contribute to the design, development, and testing of new pipeline products under the guidance of senior engineers.

Support the iteration and improvement of product concepts through prototyping, analysis, and feedback.

Partner with cross-functional teams cross the business to implement product line improvements.

Contribute to the design and development of new medical devices within the R&D team.

Create and execute testing protocols, and conduct product and component testing as required.

Design and develop R&D and manufacturing test equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
-
2–5 years of engineering experience, ideally in medical devices or a regulated industry.

Proficient in SolidWorks with strong CAD and drawing standards knowledge.

Functional understanding of electronics, including basic analog and digital circuits.

Practical understanding of production manufacturing processes

Practical programming experience (Python, Arduino, or equivalent).

Strong hands-on prototyping and problem-solving skills.

Experience with human factors engineering.
Bonus Skills and Experience:

Development of wearable medical devices.

Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management systems.
