Requirements:
- A genuine love for coffee and curiosity about roasting
- Basic understanding of coffee origins, processing, and flavor profiles
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proven experience in coffee roasting (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Strong understanding of roast curves, airflow, charge temperature, and development time
- Familiarity with cupping protocols and sensory analysis
- Passion for specialty coffee and continuous learning
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with roasting software (e.g., Cropster, Artisan) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining roasting equipment to produce consistent, high-quality coffee
- Developing and refining roast profiles for various origins and processing methods
- Conducting regular cuppings and sensory evaluations to ensure flavor accuracy
- Managing green coffee inventory and coordinating with suppliers
- Collaborating with the quality control and barista teams to align on flavor goals
- Ensuring cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the roasting space
