Junior Sales Engineer/HVAC

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior Sales Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and English, with a solid understanding of quantity take-off, HAP analysis, and technical sales within the HVAC, MEP, or building materials sectors. This role involves supporting senior sales staff in preparing technical proposals, engaging with clients and consultants, and contributing to the achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
• Conduct quantity take-offs (QTO) from drawings, specifications, and BOQs for HVAC systems.
• Perform HAP (Hourly Analysis Program) calculations to determine cooling loads and system capacities.
• Support senior sales engineers in client meetings, product presentations, and technical discussions.
• Coordinate with design and estimation teams to ensure accurate project costing and selections.
• Follow up with clients, consultants, and contractors regarding quotations, submittals, and approvals.
• Maintain up-to-date records of projects, leads, and follow-ups.
• Prepare and maintain sales reports and pipeline summaries.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and new technologies relevant to the field.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in HVAC.
• Proficiency in Quantity Take-Off, HAP, and AutoCAD.
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and ducting.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Valid Qatar Driving License is an advantage.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in HVAC contracting or equipment supply companies.
• Familiarity with Qatar construction market, consultants, and contractors.
• Team player with a proactive and result-oriented attitude.
