Junior SEO and SMM Executive

Job description

We are looking for a forward-thinking Jr. SEO Executive to join our digital marketing team.

1. Search & AI Optimization (SEO, AEO, & GEO)

• Perform keyword research and "entity" research to identify what users are asking AI assistants.
• Optimize website content to be "cite-worthy" for generative AI engines (GEO).
• Implement schema markup and structured data to improve visibility in rich snippets and AI-generated answers (AEO).
• Conduct on-page audits (meta tags, headers, and internal linking) with a focus on conversational intent.

2. Content Strategy & Quality

• Collaborate with the content team to ensure articles follow the E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) framework.
• Monitor "Brand Mentions" across the web to build authority in AI training datasets.

3. Social Media Management (SMM) Support

• Assist in managing brand profiles on LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Instagram.
• Repurpose SEO-driven content into engaging social posts to drive referral traffic.
• Understand the "Social Search" aspect—optimizing social captions for in-platform searchability.

4. Reporting & Analytics

• Track traditional rankings in Google Search Console and GA4.
• Monitor brand visibility within AI chatbots and generative search snapshots.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field.

Experience

6 months to 1.5 years in an SEO-focused role.

AEO/GEO Knowledge

Basic understanding of how LLMs retrieve information and the importance of structured data.

Technical Skills

Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs/Semrush, Google Search Console, and Canva (for basic SMM).

Soft Skills

Strong curiosity for AI trends, excellent writing skills, and an analytical mindset.
