Junior Shopify Developer

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and technically driven Junior Shopify Developer to help build, improve, and maintain high-performing Shopify websites. You’ll work closely with our design, product, and marketing teams to create seamless, visually appealing, and conversion-focused eCommerce experiences.

This opportunity is perfect for someone with practical Shopify experience who wants to grow into a well-rounded eCommerce developer, exploring new Shopify features, APIs, and performance optimization practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and manage Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript (ES6+), and JSON.
• Convert Figma, XD, or Sketch designs into responsive, pixel-perfect Shopify storefronts.
• Integrate and configure Shopify apps, APIs, and third-party services (e.g., Klaviyo, ReCharge, Yotpo, Gorgias).
• Utilize Shopify REST and GraphQL APIs for data-driven features and dynamic components.
• Enhance site speed, optimize assets, and ensure strong Lighthouse performance scores.
• Deliver mobile-first, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible front-end experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-department teams to align technical implementation with marketing and product goals.
• Handle QA testing, debugging, and version control using Git/GitHub.
• Support CRO and UI/UX improvements to enhance user engagement and conversion rates.
• Stay informed on Shopify platform updates, Hydrogen/Remix, and eCommerce innovations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional Shopify development experience.
• Expertise in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Familiarity with Shopify Theme 2.0, Shopify CLI, and JSON templates.
• Hands-on experience working with Shopify APIs, Git-based version control, and collaborative workflows.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, SEO, and performance optimization principles.
• Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and close attention to detail.
