Junior Software Engineer

Mid-Day is looking for Junior Software Engineer who will support technical development, system operations, business coordination, and user enablement. The role involves working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth system performance, accurate data handling, and effective use of technology tools across the organization.

1. Technical Development & Architecture

This pillar focuses on the “under the hood” work required to keep the system running and evolving.

  • Coding & Data: Developing and maintaining systems using .NET, JavaScript, and SQL Server.
  • Web Infrastructure: Managing online portals, understanding CDN architecture, and optimizing caching.
  • Architecture: Understanding how the ERP database connects to the front-end application.

2. Operational Support & Troubleshooting

The “day-to-day” firefighting and maintenance tasks.

  • Issue Resolution: Diagnosing functional (how it works) and technical (why it broke) issues.
  • Third-Party Integration: Managing Payment Gateways and resolving friction between the ERP and external providers.
  • System Navigation: Helping users pull reports and complete transactions accurately.

3. Business Analysis & Coordination

The bridge between human needs and technical solutions.

  • Requirement Translation: Taking a business need (e.g., “We need faster invoicing”) and turning it into a technical blueprint.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Acting as the middleman between internal users, developers, and external vendors.
  • Documentation: Keeping a “knowledge base” of issues and solutions so the team doesn’t solve the same problem twice.

4. Training & Enablement

Ensuring the organization actually knows how to use the tools provided.

  • User Education: Conducting formal training sessions for new and existing staff.
  • CRM & Digital Ops: Supporting the online application portal and utilizing digital operation tools to improve efficiency.
