Junior Sommelier (Italian Speaker)

POSITION SUMMARY

Assist Management in taking food and beverage orders; retrieve and serve alcoholic /non-alcoholic beverages and food
orders to guest tables; Perform according to standards on table service in assigned station according to lobby lounges
specifications, courteously and efficiently. Assist in the maintenance of the assigned area and equipment. Work in
accordance to Managers and other superior’s request.
Requirements are minimum level of necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. To perform this job successfully,
each employee with ability and aptitude will perform each duty proficiently. Individuals who pose a direct threat or
significant risk to the health and safety of themselves, other employees, or guests will be dismissed.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work
conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean
and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and
acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Speak with others using clear and professional language, and
answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support
team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure
adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. Move, lift, carry, push, pull,
and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as
requested by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
