Junior Specialist Infrastructure Security – South (Karachi-Based)

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring the security, compliance, and uninterrupted accessibility of BTS sites in the designated region. The role requires strict enforcement of security policies, proactive support to stakeholders, and efficient management of site resources to prevent losses and ensure operational continuity.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Network sites facilitator management, Salary processing, and ensuring adherence to process governance around payments

• Asset security, preventing unauthorized site access, implementing a complete QR (quick response) model at tower sites to ensure every intrusion is reverted successfully

• Site access provision as per the approved WO and observing the working window for activity performers

• Point of Escalation for EWAP (Alerts/Alarms) from TOC/SOC

• Random Audits of FLM fueling teams (Fueling Bouzers, Jerry canes, refueling process, spot checks, audits of fuel station to check nozzle calibration)

• Approaching LEA (Police and other forces) for lodging FIR against asset theft and recovery.

• Reconciliation and Invoice processing of Network Security Supplier and finalization of LD`s

• Taking concrete actions to ensure zero spillover of Opex due to vandalism or interventions by the owner, realising the real consumption of commercial power and diesel as per the actual requirement of the sites.

• Ensuring every site shall be visited at least once in 60 days, highlighting operational issues and

related to civil work (damages, settlement etc.) for quick rectification to the concerned teams.

• Collaboration with management to develop and implement security plans and strategies for BTS sites, addressing potential risks and vulnerabilities.

• Create regular security reports, incident summaries for Management review.

• Network Security, Financial target analysis, and driving actions for cost optimization.

• Network Security contract management and RFP process for onboarding of network security services suppliers

• Initiate contact with the site landlord respectfully and professionally.

• Use clear communication to explain the company's intent, rights, and mutual benefits.

• Maintain regular touchpoints to foster a relationship of trust and transparency

JOB REQUIREMENTS

A. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Social Sciences or equivalent qualification.

B. Minimum Experience:

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in security/associated roles.

• Knowledge of site security protocols, alarm systems, and basic civil infrastructure.

• Strong coordination skills with internal teams and external agencies.

• Ability to perform field audits and operate independently.

• Familiarity with RFPs, invoice reconciliation, and vendor management is a plus.
