The Division
Dealer Information Systems Corporation (Client), a division of Constellation Software Inc., is a leading business management software provider to agricultural, construction, truck refrigeration and lift truck dealers in North America. We provide technology that powers our customers, the backbone of North America... 2400+ agricultural, construction & material handling equipment dealers. The Position:
We are seeking to hire a Junior SQA Analyst with hands-on practical experience and expertise in software testing, new grads can also apply for this position.
This role will be to work within our R&D team to develop, maintain and improve testing protocols with the goal of quicker and more reliable deliveries of new features, bug fixes and product enhancements.
The hired candidate will be located and work out of the Contour Software Islamabad office, working as part of the resource-center, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
Required Qualifications and Skills
University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent industry experience.
0-2 years of experience in software testing for web and desktop-based enterprise applications.
Hands-on experience in manual testing, utilizing various testing techniques such as functional, regression, integration, and UI testing.
Familiar with task/defect tracking systems such as JIRA (ideal) or others.
Being detail-oriented is required as you will test applications to find ways to improve them and isolate problems.
Strong verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and monitor testing progress.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Experience with Agile methodology is preferred.
